The 222 osteoporosis-associated genes were also subjected to KEGG pathway analysis with “KEGG” package in R. And 14 KEGG pathways were significantly enriched such as cysteine and methionine metabolism, Salmonella infection, focal adhesion, gap junction, pathogenic Escherichia coli infection, glycerolipid metabolism, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, and p53 signaling pathway (Figure 3(a)). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is osteoporosis.
