Interestingly, we found a significant increase in IFNγ production in both CD8+ and CD4+ T cells in the lungs of IL5Tg mice compared to both WT and Δdbl-IL5Tg mice (Figure 5C and Supplemental Figure 8B), suggesting that eosinophilia and reduced tumor burden in IL5Tg mice correlates with increased proportions of IFNγ producing T cells. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and neoplasm.
