Our own clinical data also showed that high SIGLEC9 protein levels presented to have a shorter survival probability than low SIGLEC9 protein levels in patients with age ≧60 years, grade IV glioma, GBM, ATRX loss glioma, without radiotherapy, or without chemotherapy, which are all poor prognosis factors of gliomas. This evidence concerns the gene ATRX and central nervous system cancer.
