Our own clinical data also showed that high SIGLEC9 protein levels presented to have a shorter survival probability than low SIGLEC9 protein levels in patients with age ≧60 years, grade IV glioma, GBM, ATRX loss glioma, without radiotherapy, or without chemotherapy, which are all poor prognosis factors of gliomas. This evidence concerns the gene ATRX and glioblastoma.
