We analyzed the data in the TIMER database (http://timer.cistrome.org/) [11] and found that Foxp3 gene expression level in ESCC tissues was positively correlated with the degree of B cell infiltration, CD4 positive T cells, macrophages, neutrophils, and dendritic cells (Figure 2(a)). This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
