Jin et al. reported that high expression of UCHL1 was positively correlated with invasive tumor behavior and affected survival in hilar cholangiocarcinoma [23], while, in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, coexpression of UCHL1 and α-internexin predicts a better OS and disease free survival [24].
