We then analyzed protein interactions associated with CYCS through the OncoBinder model to assess the potential function of CYCS (Figure 8B), indicating that many proteins interact with CYCS in the cytosol, extracellular, membrane, mitochondrion, nucleus and secretory pathway widely enriched in prion disease, Parkinson’s disease, measles, flavin adenine dinucleotide binding, electron transfer activity, organelle outer membrane, mitochondrial outer membrane, mitochondrial inner membrane, intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway, cellular respiration and electron transport chain (Figure 8C). The gene discussed is CYCS; the disease is measles.
