Transient receptor potential channel 1 (TRPC1) is a kind of voltage‐independent cation channel protein located on the cell membrane, which regulates calcium ions (Ca2+) influx and plays an oncogenic role in some solid cancers through activating calmodulin‐mediated phosphoinositide 3‐kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/Akt) signaling axis, such as colorectal cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and pancreatic cancer.11, 12, 13, 14. Here, AKT1 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
