We next examined the cell-autonomous function of RNASE4 in prostate cancer proliferation by knocking down RNASE4 in PC-3 (Fig. 5a and b), DU145 (Supplementary Fig. 9a and b), and LNCaP (Supplementary Fig. 10a and b) cells using two RNASE4-specific shRNAs (shRNASE4-1 and shRNASE4-2) with a non-targeting shRNA control (shControl). Here, RNASE4 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
