In the primary analysis, each copy of the minor allele of rs34536443, representing partial TYK2 inhibition, was associated with an increased risk of lung cancer (OR 1.15, 95% CI 1.09‐1.23, P = 2.29 × 10−6) and non‐Hodgkin lymphoma (OR 1.18, 95% CI 1.05‐1.33, P = 5.25 × 10−3). This evidence concerns the gene TYK2 and lung cancer.
