Therefore, we analyzed the correlation between the expression patterns of miR-124-3p and ANGPTL2 in obese and nonobese PCOS patients and found that miR-124-3p was significantly negatively correlated with ANGPTL2 (r = −0.7951/−0.7029, all P < 0.001) (Figures 3(a)-3(b)), which suggested that miR-124-3p might interact with ANGPTL2. The gene discussed is ANGPTL2; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
