In recent years, studies have confirmed that the expression level of PIEZO1 is significantly increased in gastric cancer [27], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma [28], glioblastoma multiforme [29], colon cancer [25], prostate malignant tumor [9] and bladder carcinoma [30] and decreased in lung cancer. Here, PIEZO1 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
