The results show that AGE treatment increased the expression levels of Aβ and BACE-1, and CIN treatment resulted in a decline in AGEs-induced Aβ production by inhibiting BACE-1 both in vitro (p < 0.05 or p < 0.01; Figure 6A–C) and in vivo (p < 0.05 or p < 0.01; Figure 6D–F).
