The peptide decreased the protein expression of pro-inflammatory Toll-like receptor 4, phosphor-nuclear factor κB, phosphor-p38 MAPK, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and interleukin (IL)-6 during hypertension-induced cardiac inflammation in SHR and high-fat diet-induced inflammation in SAMP8 mice [7,8].
