NPPB and familial hypercholesterolemia: Several demographic characteristics were found to differ between the two groups—the high-level NT-proBNP group were slightly older (75.3 vs. 70.4 years; p = 0.026), had a lower proportion of hypercholesterolemia (71.4% vs 95.2%; p = 0.003), and a higher proportion of atrial fibrillation (81.6% vs. 54.8%; p = 0.002).
