The new treatment approaches and rFVIII products that have become available in the last years in the haemophilia field have afforded the possibility to improve its management, reducing the treatment burden, FVIII consumption and providing similar or lower bleeding rates compared with previous generations of rFVIII concentrates and standard dosing regimens (every-other-day or two-times-a-week infusions).
