Genes involved in glycolysis, including phosphofructokinase, muscle type, or PFK1 (Pfkm), fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B (Aldob), muscle-specific phosphoglycerate mutase 2 (Pgam2) and enolase 3, beta, muscle (Eno3) were downregulated in the HF phase (Figure 3A).
