Savolitinib is an oral selective MET inhibitor that showed promising results in a phase 2 trial on METex14 mutated lung sarcomatoid carcinomas with an ORR of 49% by ICR [44] and is currently under evaluation in combination with osimertinib in patients affected by MET-altered NSCLC with acquired resistance to EGFR-TKIs (NCT05015608, NCT05163249). This evidence concerns the gene MET and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
