TRPM8 and neoplasm: Collectively, our data on PC3 luc and PC3–M8 luc cell lines in vitro as well as in xenografted mouse prostates demonstrate that the decrease in tumor growth induced by TRPM8 overexpression (Figure 1) is partly attributable to the TRPM8–induced cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase as well as its strong inhibition of PCa cells’ clone formation capabilities.
