Moreover, it is noteworthy that, as a result of expediting/intensifying the onset and progression of proapoptotic pathways, the overexpression of the CADM1 gene was found to inhibit migration and metastasis in gastric cancer, colon, prostate, and ovarian cancers, as well as different skin cancers, such as malignant melanoma or cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma [46,47,48].
