Frequencies of CD80+ cells were significantly increased in colitis mice compared to normal control mice in PBL (61.60 ± 4.38% vs. 40.22 ± 7.48%, p < 0.001) and in IELs (73.13 ± 2.67% vs. 49.40 ± 4.07%, p < 0.001), and also compared to normal mice treated with T. halophilus in PBL (61.60 ± 4.38% vs. 32.90 ± 3.76%, p < 0.001) and in IELs (73.13 ± 2.67% vs. 52.85 ± 3.81%, p < 0.001) (Figure 2C,G). Here, CD80 is linked to colitis.
