CD86 and colitis: Frequencies of CD86+ cells were significantly decreased in colitis mice compared to normal control mice (2.2 ± 0.57% vs. 4.4 ± 0.35%, p < 0.05) or normal mice treated with T. halophilus (2.2 ± 0.57% vs. 4.6 ± 0.49%, p < 0.05) in PBL, however, in IELs no significant differences were observed (Figure 2D,H).
