MZL originate and/or have a stage of differentiation of B-lymphocytes in the marginal zone of secondary lymphoid follicles and commonly expresses typical markers such as CD19, CD20 and CD22, usually lacking the expression of CD5, CD10, CD23 and Cyclin D1, differentiating it from chronic lymphatic leukemia (CLL) and most germinal-center and mantle-zone derived lymphomas [2,3]. The gene discussed is CD19; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
