Increased cellular granularity, amplified lipidation of LC3 (from LC3-I to LC3-II), and elevated levels of LC3 foci indicated that cells exposed to TTFields were undergoing increased autophagy, similar to what has been reported in GBM and non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) cells [22,23].
