Patients diagnosed with HRD breast cancer have shown an association with a more aggressive phenotype: BRCA1 is more frequently associated with triple-negative breast cancer, and BRCA2-related breast cancer correlated with a higher histological grade compared to patients who do not have germline mutations [37,38,39]. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and hypoparathyroidism-retardation-dysmorphism syndrome.
