In the present article, we discuss the role of four previously described immune-related gene signatures [21, 22], namely the IFN gamma, the expanded immune gene, the CTL signature, and the HLA-A and HLA-B molecules, in the prognosis of the early stage RCC (stages I and II) and the advanced stage group (stages III and IV). This evidence concerns the gene HLA-B and renal cell carcinoma.
