Notably, CEBPA also bound to a +6 kb enhancer of Cebpe at the GMP stage, which was subsequently autoregulated by CEBPE itself at the MY1 + MY2, MM, and BC stages (as evidenced by previously published CRISPRi experiments), resulting in high levels of Cebpe/CEBPE expression (Supplementary Fig. 8g)45. This evidence concerns the gene CEBPA and breast cancer.
