Former studies have demonstrated that T-2 toxin-induced emetic induction was related to PYY3–36 and 5-HT elevation [5]; however, two significant hormones—GLP-1 and GIP, both of which are considered vomitory factors involved in T-2 toxin-caused emesis—are indistinguishable, though they have been proven to be elevated in T-2 toxin-induced anorexia [16,24,28].
