Furthermore, reactivation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling by transfection of the pENTRN90-β-catenin vector partially reversed the inhibitory effect of TMEM88 on the proliferation and invasion of thyroid cancer cells, indicating that TMEM88 exerts an anti-thyroid cancer effect in the presence of Wnt/β-catenin protein signaling. This evidence concerns the gene TMEM88 and thyroid gland carcinoma.
