TRP-2 is a human melanoma-specific antigen with an ortholog in murine B16F10 melanoma cells and TRP-2 specific CD8+ T cells have been described in both humans and mice.36 We found that tumors treated with BCG hydrogel showed enhanced frequencies of TRP-2-specific CD8+ T cells (figure 6L), while no significant change was observed in the spleen (figure 6M). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is melanoma.
