To achieve a comprehensive understanding of the biological processes of this difficult-to-treat condition, based on transcriptomics and proteomics of the choroid plexus, we hypothesized that NLRP3 would aggravate hydrocephalus after ICH with ventricular extension (ICH-IVH) by altering NKCC1 phosphorylation to enhance CSF secretion in the choroid plexus. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and Hydrocephalus.
