Therefore, in this prospective, non-interventional cohort study, we first described the levels of Sirt3 in the serum of patients with sepsis or septic shock, explored the correlation between serum Sirt3 levels and severity of illness, clinical perfusion indicators, and infection indicators, as well as the importance of Sirt3 as an indicator of diagnosing and predicting in septic patients.
