In the present study, we focused on the Ln511-E8 fragment and sought to determine its effects on the adhesion, proliferation, and morphology of gastric cancer cells by comparing the properties of Ln511-E8 and full-length Ln511, based on the assumption that the truncated protein has a higher affinity for gastric cancer cells than full-length laminin. The gene discussed is LAMB2; the disease is gastric cancer.
