The results revealed the following: infection with PR8 induced the production of IL-1β, IL-17A, and IL-18; the BALF expression of IL-1β in WT mice infected with the virus was lower than that in infected MR1–/– mice (p < 0.001); the BALF expression of IL-17A in WT mice infected with the virus was higher than that in infected MR1–/– mice (p < 0.05); and the expression of IL-17A and IL-18 in the supernatant of cells from WT mice infected with the virus was lower than that in the supernatant of cells from infected MR1–/– mice (p < 0.05). Here, IL17A is linked to infection.
