Previous studies demonstrated that brain microglial overactivation can induce proinflammatory gene expression by activation of NF-κB signaling pathway following stroke (23), The down-regulated genes were evaluated by KEGG analysis, and the KEGG pathways were mainly enriched for terms involved in Parkinson disease, AD, oxidative phosphorylation, Huntington disease and Pathways of neurodegeneration-multiple diseases (Figure 6B; Supplementary Table 4).
