SULT2A1 and polycystic ovary syndrome: Table 1 shows the socio-demographic characteristics of the study participants. Table 2 shows the percentage of subjects that had symptoms of hyperandrogenemia. The results of serum androgens are depicted in Table 3. There was no statistical difference between the serum levels of testosterone, androstenedione and DHEAS of the subjects and the controls. There was no significant relationship between serum androgen levels and severity of acne (P > 0.05) (Table 4).
