Studies have shown that some immunity genes such as TLR7, CD40LG, and CXCR3 may escape XCI in several lymphoid cells (B cells, T cells, plasmacytoid cells), especially in some auto-immune diseases such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus due to a dysregulation of the XIST long non-coding RNA involved in XCI (28–30). This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and immune system disorder.
