We found significant positive correlation coefficients between the expression of FAT1 and TGF-β1 (r = 0.517; p ≤ 0.01), TGF-β2 (r = 0.523; p ≤ 0.01), and Serpine1 (r = 0.512; p ≤ 0.01) (Table S4), indicating a positive association between upregulated FAT1 expression (>2-fold in 44/49 GBM tumors; Table S3) and increased TGF-β1, TGF-β2, and Serpine1 in the studied GBM tumor samples. The gene discussed is FAT1; the disease is glioblastoma.
