Both Rgs1, a gene that has been shown to influence migration, reduce the frequency of T follicular helper cells upon knockdown, and play a role in autoimmunity (39), and Icos, whose involvement in T cell activation was discovered in 1999 (40), were downregulated in the groups exposed to ConA+Veh when compared to Naïve while TCDD did not further alter their expression (Figures 9C, D). The gene discussed is ICOS; the disease is Autoimmunity.
