VKDPs are a group of proteins that need vitamin K to conduct carboxylation, including the coagulation factors II, VII, IX, and X, and the anti-coagulation proteins C, S, and Z. Vitamin K and VKDPs were also associated with age-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, dementia, cognitive impairment, mobility problems and weakness (59). Here, F2 is linked to dementia.
