Subsequently, the methylation levels of KCNN4 between pan-cancer and normal control tissues were analyzed, indicating significant downregulation of methylation levels in tumor tissues compared to normal tissues in BLCA, BRCA, CESC, COAD, ESCA, HNSC, KIRC, KIRP, LIHC, LUAD, LUSC, PAAD, PCPG, READ, THCA, and UCEC, whereas PRAD presented higher levels of methylation in cancer tissues compared to normal control tissues (Supplementary Figure S2). This evidence concerns the gene KCNN4 and neoplasm.
