Considering that inflammation plays crucial roles in the immune response and development and progression of lung cancer (31), we explored the correlation between the expression of IRRGs (ADM, CCL20, EREG, IRAK2, MMP14, NAMPT, PLAUR, PVR, RIPK2, SERPINE1, and SPHK1) and immune infiltration in LUAD by employing the TIMER database. This evidence concerns the gene MMP14 and lung cancer.
