AFP and neoplasm: Subsequent multivariate analyses further revealed that four preoperative risk factors, including age (P < 0.001), AFP level (< 20 vs 20–400 ng/mL, P = 0.001; < 20 vs > 400 ng/mL, P = 0.004), tumor diameter (≤ 5 vs 5–10 cm, P < 0.001; ≤ 5 vs > 10 cm, P = 0.008), and tumor number (1 vs 2, P = 0.019; 1 vs 3, P = 0.035).
