In a study on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells, the results of genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens revealed negative regulators of the MAPK and mTORC1 signaling pathways, including LZTR1, NF1, and TSC1 or TSC2, were associated with sorafenib resistance [184]. This evidence concerns the gene TSC2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
