EBNA1BP2 and malaria: The number of previous malaria episodes increased by two-fold the chance of having a positive antibody response to EBP2 (aOR = 1.95, 95% CI = 1.51–2.51, P<0.0001) and in 1.2 times for antibodies against DEKnull-2 (DEKnull-2, aOR = 1.24, 95% CI = 1.01–1.40, P = 0.001), confirming the influence of exposure to malaria on the IgG antibody response to these P. vivax ligands.
