However, other clinicopathological characteristics were better among the medium/low RECQL patients of our cohort; medium/low RECQL levels were associated with a larger proportion of ER-positive tumours (79.6% vs. 69.0%) and a smaller proportion of triple-negative tumour (12.3% vs. 17.9%), while there was no difference between the medium/low versus high RECQL patients in HER2 status, tumour stage, tumour grade, and tumour histology.
