For example, we compared the stenosis rate of the coronary and cerebral atherosclerosis in WHHL and apoE KO rabbits in the current study and found that average coronary stenosis rate was much higher than that of cerebral lesions (89 ± 3.7% and 63.8 ± 17% in coronary arteries of WHHL and apoE KO respectively) in the same animals.
