Twenty immune genes were utilized to perform further differential and correlation analyses; 18 immune genes were significantly differentially expressed in depression samples compared with those in the corresponding controls (as shown in Figure 7A), and 13 immune genes were significantly associated with GTF2F2 based on their expression levels in the high and low GTF2F2 expression subgroups as shown in Figure 7B. This evidence concerns the gene GTF2F2 and depressive disorder.
