KDM6B and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder: Since the heterozygous Kdm6b-KO mice recapitulate a variety of core clinical manifestations observed in patients, they provide an invaluable tool for further exploring the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of Kdm6b-mutation-related ASD/ADHD behavioral deficits, as well as for developing and testing new therapeutic approaches to treat neurodevelopmental diseases caused by Kdm6b mutations.
