It is well known that CXCR4/CXCL12 interaction leads to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) after chemotherapy and hence the strategy of conjugating the CXCR4 antagonist on the Fe3O4@Pt composite nanozyme’s surface interferes with this axis (Figure 3C) (Kong et al., 2021). The gene discussed is CXCR4; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
