Toll-like receptor 2, one of the HMGB receptors, is believed as correlation with NETs production, and HMGB1-mediated TLR2 signaling plays a critical role in eliciting glioblastoma regression, However, further studies are still needed to clarify the protumor and antitumor functions of NETs in glioma.
