At baseline, non-parametric receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curves was analysed to determine the prediction of mortality of single genes identified CCL5, PTPRCv1, CD3E, IL7R, NOD1, IL4δ2, and GNLY with Area Under the Curve (AUCs) of 0.86, 0.86, 0.86, 0.85, 0.78, 0.77 and 0.76 respectively, indicating those genes with the most powerful classifying potential biomarker for risk of mortality among survivors of HIV + TB+ (Fig. 2). Here, GNLY is linked to tuberculosis.
